Date: 9/16/2011 Phone: (910) 433-1427 The Fayetteville Fire Department to Hold Car Seat Clinic for Child Passenger Safety Week The Fayetteville Fire/Emergency Management Department will conduct a Car Seat Safety Check in the parking lot of the Target Store located at 2056 Skibo Rd. on Saturday, September 17th from 11:00am until 2:00pm. The Car Sear Check clinic is a free event designed to check for improper child sear intallations, assist with new car seat installations and identify damaged or recalled car seats. Last year approximately 200 car seats were checked protecting children from injury and death in car crashes. This event highlight Child Passenger Safety Week, September 18th thru 24th. The Fayetteville Fire/Emergency Management Department partners with the Cumberland County North Carolina Safe Kids Coalition to promote safety of all children age 0-14 years old.
Several city of Fayetteville Fire Stations provide the same function year round for those who are unable to make it to the event at Target. Click on the link below to see these locations
